Burial or Cremation?
You may choose between burial or cremation. Sometimes this decision can be a difficult one. Some people know exactly what they want because their loved one has made it clear and to the point of their desire. But for some it can be a hard decision, especially when wishes were never stated, or finances are playing a part. Our staff is here and able to assist you to come to the perfect decision for you and your family.
If you decide on burial, then it is time to select the casket of choice. If cremation is your choice, then you’ll need to select your urn of choice.
Why plan ahead?
PRE-PLANNING DOES NOT MEAN PRE-PAYMENT
There are many advantages to planning a funeral ahead of time. By pre-planning a funeral, difficult decisions will not have to be made during a time of grieving and stress. You will be able to visit a potential resting site and have time to decide on and compare options. Thought can be made to whether cremation is an option you may want to choose. Your wishes can be put into writing to give your family direction when the need arises. Our staff will help you plan so that your family can carry out your wishes.
You can protect you and your family from inflation. By paying on your plan to ensure your expenses are covered when needed. Once paid, your prices are frozen.
Those who have served our country deserve to be honored with dignity. We believe in paying proper respect to military service members and veterans. We are committed to offering burial and memorial services that respect, honor and give true meaning to those families who are mourning the grief of their loved one.
Ask us about the honors that your loved ones may be eligible for. We will help you secure your potential veterans’ benefits, such as burial flags, government markers, memorial certificate and a burial plot.
We will notify the Social Security Administration of the death. We will explain and help you apply for any benefits you may be entitled to through Social Security.
We will help you in obtaining a death certificate which can be important for insurance purposes as well a host of other issues. Please ensure you have accurate information when you are planning funeral services so that death certificates can be accurately filed with the state.
We prepare obituaries for the newspaper to announce the passing of your loved one. You can take advantage of the free obituary or upgrade to one with your loved one’s picture and other information.
We also have resources to provide you with programs for your funeral service that range from the standard programs to a booklet.
We can set up an online memorial for your loved one. Our online memorials provide information for guests about the funeral services and provide a tribute to your loved one. Guests will be able to gain information about dates, times and locations of funeral services. Guests will also be able to order flowers, make donations and sign a guest book through the memorial. The family will have access to the memorial to add photos to create a photo gallery for their loved one. By providing information to guests about services, our online memorials help lessen the load on a family during a difficult time. The memorials also serve to pay tribute to your family's loved one.
You can also find information about your loved ones’ services on our Facebook page.
