  • I wasa going to say the same things J. Lee said. All the OR staff loved and respected Dr. Houston. He was the best of the best surgeons. Kind and caring to his patients as well as us staff. He was the only doctor that loved to teach, too. I came from Methodist Hospital in HOuston, a teaching hospital, and Dr. Houston was the only doctor in the OR at Mother Frances who loved to teach as well as operate. He stood out to all of us and my recollection is the hospital nurses nominated him our favorite doctor year after year back in the '80's. You will forever be missed. Such an outstanding, genuine person. S. Wilson, RN

  • Dr. Houston was the outstanding surgeon that operated on my preemie Son 42 years ago. He only weight 2 lbs. 11 oz. and Dr. Houston performed 4 major surgeries on him and bought him out each time. He is now a Pastor & school teacher and I thank God for using Dr. Houston to operate on him so that he could fulfill what God had purposed for him to do. May God comfort and give peace to each of you in Jesus Name. Robbie Williamson, Mother of Marcus A. Williamson
