Obituary For Mrs. Helen Sims Nickerson

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Sims Nickerson, 67, Tyler, are scheduled for 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at New Zion Baptist Church in Winona. Social distancing and face masks are required. Burial will be in New Boggy Cemetery in Bethany, Louisiana under the direction of Community Funeral Home of Tyler.

Public viewing will be Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm at Community Funeral Home of Tyler Chapel.

She an I grew up together in the same neighborhood and were classmates @ Carthage High School class of 1973..she was a sweet person to know and love. I know this is hard for the family but nevertheless thank God for the time you had her apart of you all lives. May God continue to shower you all with his divine blessings and favor..

    Mrs. Nick was always kind and welcoming every time I met her. Whenever she knew I was coming in town she made sure to cook me up some chicken spaghetti. To the Nickerson family (quoting Jonathan McReynolds) "May your struggles keep you near the cross And may your troubles show that you need God And may your battles end the way they should And may your bad days prove that God is good And may your whole life prove that God is good."
